Combine LEGO bricks with smart sensors to let robots complete rescue missions and sports competitions. Students will master mechanical engineering principles, learn visual programming, and experience the joy of seeing their creations come to life.

Curriculum Overview

Week 1-2

Mechanical Structure Basics

Learn about gears, levers, and motor principles. Assemble your first movable LEGO robot and run your first drive test.

Week 3-4

Visual Programming Introduction

Use the LEGO Mindstorms visual programming interface to make the robot move and turn according to commands.

Week 5-6

Sensor Applications

Add color and ultrasonic sensors to achieve automatic obstacle avoidance and line-following functions.

Week 7-8

Competition Mission Challenge

Simulate robot competition scenarios, complete rescue and transport missions, and participate in an in-class competition.
